Our Story — From Friendship to Leadership
At Duxsan, we don't just build software — we build lasting connections, both with our clients and among ourselves.
Our story began in 2017, when a group of close friends, all passionate software developers, were working together in the same agency. Over time, some of us developed a strong bond—Nawaz, Eman, Babar, Ammar, Shahbaz, Ibad, Adeel, and Yasiz.
Among these friends, three of them—Shahbaz, Ammar, and Nawaz—decided to take a bold step and start our own company. That's how Duxsan was born. The name itself has a special meaning—"Dux" is derived from Latin, meaning "Leader." We then added the initials from our names—S from Shahbaz, A from Ammar, and N from Nawaz—to create Duxsan, symbolizing leadership and unity.
The Early Days
In those early days, life wasn't easy. We would spend our days working full-time jobs as software developers, mainly focusing on Shopware development. After office hours, we would gather at the Duxsan office, burning the midnight oil to build something of our own.
However, in 2019, we faced serious challenges—management gaps and financial pressures forced us to shut down operations. We mutually decided to focus on our jobs for the time being.
The Revival
Then came the unexpected—the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. As offices closed and remote work became the norm, we found ourselves with spare time. That's when we began freelancing, each of us individually, to supplement our incomes.
It was during this time that Ammar decided to revive the Duxsan name for his freelancing projects. With the blessings and support of the original partners, Duxsan came back to life—this time as a one-man venture under Ammar's leadership.
With deep expertise in Shopware 5 and Shopware 6 development, Duxsan slowly began attracting clients across Europe—ranging from individual merchants to established digital agencies. Many of these clients became long-term partners, impressed by the quality, dedication, and results.
Sister Companies
Meanwhile, Nawaz, Shahbaz, and Ibad started their own new agency called Insxoft—again inspired by the same naming tradition: I from Ibad, N from Nawaz, and S from Shahbaz.
Another friend from our early days, Babar, also went on to start his own agency with his brother, called D9Art.
Today, Duxsan, Insxoft, and D9Art are like sister companies—each independently thriving but still sharing a bond of friendship, mutual respect, and collaboration. We continue to work together on joint projects from time to time, proving that friendship and entrepreneurship can truly go hand in hand.

A true full stack developer, Ammar works across almost all modern technologies — from React, Next.js, and Vue to Node.js, PHP, Symfony, and beyond. After co-founding Duxsan in 2017, Ammar led its revival during the COVID era, turning it into a trusted digital partner for European merchants and agencies. As CEO, he leads the team with clarity and care — and as a developer, he still gets his hands dirty with complex Shopware integrations, AI-powered features, performance optimization, and high-impact custom solutions.
